This Frutos Secos Walnut Serving Dish by Bordallo Pinheiro is an enlarged ceramic version of a real walnut. The round shape, warm brown tones and pronounced relief give the dish its surprisingly lifelike appearance. The top half forms a loose lid, under which you can store small snacks or other items.
Serving dish and decorative object
Use the walnut for nuts, sweets, olives and other small snacks, or as a special storage dish. With the lid on, it transforms back into a large ceramic walnut that looks great on a table or open cabinet even without content.
The dish is made of earthenware, hand-painted and made in Portugal. Small differences in color and finish make each piece slightly different.
The dish is dishwasher safe. We recommend removing it from the dishwasher after the wash cycle so that the glaze is not exposed to hot steam for a long time.
